The new app lets users search across IHG’s portfolio hotels, with ChatGPT helping surface options based on traveller preferences. The experience can show real-time availability, pricing, interactive maps and amenities, before guiding users to IHG’s direct booking channels to complete the reservation.

IHG also said it will soon add AI-powered conversational search to IHG.com and the IHG One Rewards app. The goal is to let travelers search in natural language rather than relying only on fixed filters or keywords.

The update is part of IHG’s broader technology and AI strategy focused on improving planning, booking and the guest experience.
